Supporting injured workers to adjust, cope and move forward

A workplace injury can affect much more than physical health. Changes to work, daily activities, independence, relationships and future plans can affect a person’s confidence, mood and overall wellbeing.

AusMind provides Adjustment to Injury Counselling to support workers who are experiencing difficulty coping with the emotional and practical impact of a work-related injury.

The focus is on helping workers develop practical coping strategies, strengthen confidence and identify achievable steps towards recovery and return-to-work goals.

When Adjustment to Injury Counselling may help
